পান্না মধ্যম থেকে গাঢ় সবুজ রঙের সুন্দর রত্ন পাথর। ষড়ভূজাকৃতির কেলাস আকারে এটি পাওয়া যায়। বেশির ভাগ পান্নাই ঘোলাটে বর্ণের এবং খুঁতযুক্ত। নিখুঁত ও সুন্দর পান্না খুবই দামি রত্ন। একই ধরনের খনিজ পাথরের সাথে পান্নার পার্থক্য হলো শুধু পান্নাই অভ্র শিলাস্তরে বা চুনাপাথরে পাওয়া যায়। সবচেয়ে বেশি পাওয়া যায় কলম্বিয়ার মুজো এবং এল সিভর খনিতে। উরাল পর্বতমালার টকোভোয়া-তে আভ্রখনিতেও পাওয়া যায়। অবশ্য সেখানে তা বেরিলিয়ামের আকরিক ক্রিসোবেরিল ও ফেনাকাইটের সঙ্গে মিশ্রিত অবস্থায় থাকে। এছাড়াও অস্ট্রিয়া, দক্ষিণ আফ্রিকা ও ভারতের কালিগুমানে পান্না পাওয়া যায়।
